We at RENT A BOAT PAG (hereinafter: „we", „us") value your privacy and take care of your personal data. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how we use it, in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

1. What data do we collect?
We collect only what we need to provide our services:
- First and last name
- Phone number and/or email address
- Booking date and number of people
- Billing information (if required)
2. Why do we collect this data?
- To send you a quote and arrange an appointment
- To issue you an invoice
- To contact you regarding your reservation (e.g. in case of weather changes)
3. Legal basis
We process your data based on:
- Contract / pre-contractual measures (quote, service delivery) — Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR
- Our legitimate interest (e.g. organizing arrival at the location) — Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR
- Your consent (for the web form) — Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR
- Legal obligation (accounting regulations) — Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR
4. How long do we keep the data?
- Data needed for accounting is kept for 11 years (legal obligation)
- Other contact details are kept as long as there is a reason for contact (usually 2–3 years after the last service)
You can request deletion of your data at any time (except for data we are legally required to keep).
5. Who do we share your data with?
We do not sell or rent your data. We share it only in the following cases:
- With government authorities if required by law
- With our accounting service (bound by confidentiality)
- With Formspree (web form processing provider) — only to transmit your inquiry
All our partners are required to maintain confidentiality and comply with GDPR.
6. Your rights
You have the right to:
- Request access to your data
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of data (if we no longer have a legal basis for keeping it)
- Withdraw consent at any time
- Object to processing

7. Cookies and analytics
Our website uses:
- Essential cookies for functionality (e.g. language selection, remembering your cookie preferences). These cookies are always active.
- Google Analytics 4 for anonymous measurement of visitor numbers and traffic sources. IP addresses are anonymized. This cookie is only activated if you accept it via the cookie notice.
