Pag is one of Croatia's most varied islands — lunar limestone landscapes on one side, turquoise coves and olive groves on the other. But the most beautiful places only reveal themselves from the water. Here are the five main reasons why a rental boat will completely transform your summer holiday on Pag.
1. Freedom no organised tour can offer
Organised boat tours have a fixed schedule, a set route, and often 30 other guests on board. With a rental boat, you decide when to leave, where to swim, how long to stay in a cove. If you love a place, stay two hours. If not, move on. That freedom is the real luxury at sea.
2. Direct access to beaches without crowds
Zrće and Straško are famous but hardly enjoyable in August. With a boat you bypass traffic and full parking lots completely — and reach coves no road leads to. Ručica, Caska, Sveti Vid, Babe: all only properly accessible by boat. You trade an hour in traffic for twenty minutes of open sea.
3. Fast access to Zrće, no parking, no waiting
In reverse: if you want to go to Zrće — the world-famous party beach — in the evening, the boat is the most elegant way to get there. You anchor offshore, swim in, enjoy the atmosphere, and leave whenever you want. No taxi, no parking, no stress. Many of our guests make this their regular evening ritual.
4. Family days kids never forget
If you're travelling with children, you'll notice: a day on a boat beats any pool visit. Dolphin sightings, starfish, rocks to jump off, your own pirate coves. Our Baracuda has a bimini top for shade, GPS with depth finder, and everything needed for a safe day. Dogs are welcome too — many of our families bring their four-legged friend along.
5. Snorkelling and diving in crystal-clear water
The Adriatic around Pag is known for visibility — on good days you can see 15 metres down. Places like Sveti Vid and Caska are true treasure chests for snorkellers: seagrass, small fish, sea urchins, and at Caska even ancient artefacts on the sea floor. Bring your gear — it's worth it.

Many guests are surprised that boat rental in Novalja starts at €100 per day for our Irena. With five people that's €20 per person — less than a lunch with a drink at a beach bar. The Baracuda 545 for seven starts at €200 — about €29 per person. For a whole day of memories, that's a price no theme park in the world can beat.
